Spraggins Home Inspections is locally owned and operated by Andy Spraggins. Andy is an InterNACHI certified home inspector, an IAC2 certified mold and radon inspector, and a federally licensed drone pilot.

Originally established in Alabama, Andy chose to relocate his business to Highlands, NC to be closer to family. The Spraggins family has had deep ties to Western North Carolina and Northeast Georgia for the past 30 years.

Andy comes from a family with a long history in general contracting and builder services, with successful entrepreneurs spanning generations. Examples include Spraggins Incorporated, owned by Andy’s brother, and McCree General Contractors and Architects, owned by Andy’s cousin, both based out of Orlando, FL.

With years of experience in building and home services, Andy has honed his skills in various areas, from installation and quality control to project management and completion of renovations. Andy's diverse skill set uniquely equips him to inspect properties in the luxury real estate market, setting him apart from other inspectors.

Andy, his wife, and two young children value their place in the Highlands community. Demonstrating commitment to service, Andy is a proud member of the Highlands Chamber of Commerce, Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce, Mountain Top Rotary, and Leadership Highlands 2024. In addition to Spraggins Home Inspections, he and his wife own a second local business, Simplicity Speech Therapy. When he is not inspecting houses, you can find Andy cooking for his family, hiking, or playing drums.
